Good Ol’ Western Invites

Saddle up all ya’ll cowboys and cowgirls! This little lady has some western party ideas that are as fine as cream gravy! I’m sure ya’ll folks will have a grand ol’ time fixin’ up these here invites…

cowgirl, cowboy, birthday, baby shower, invitations, western, old west

Now, I wish I could take credit for these invitations, but the truth is my sister and mother made these for my niece’s 2nd birthday party. I think even my sister’s hubby contributed by burning the edges to give it the ol’ worn look! These invites are great because you do not need any svg files or cutting machines to create them.

To make the front:

1)take a picture & print it in sepia

2)glue it on tan paper

3) and then slightly burn all the edges.

To make the flip-up info. page:

1) Cut  tan 5×7 pieces to print on

2) Print desired info.

3) and then slightly burn all the edges.

4) Punch holes in both pages and tie them together with twine or some cute ribbon!

Have fun! Check out pics the below from my niece’s hoedown party for more western party ideas!

(Above left) MY SISTER MADE THE CAKE! I don’t want her to get a big head, but was pretty impressive. I believe it was only her 3rd cake! Keep it up sis!

(Above right) My sister and I put this together in about 15 mins! It is always great to have a handmade banner to match your event. We just cut out tan squares, glued brown letters on, punched holes in the top, and weaved twine and ribbon through. Then I topped it off with some of those shiny sheriff badges. Cheap, easy, and personal!

(Above) What’s more western than putting your delicious snacks in tin buckets? Tying rope around them and adding a sheriff’s badge, of course!

(Above left) Red Solo cups don’t belong at a western kid’s party! Switch them up with jars wrapped in twine or ribbon with individual name tags for each guest! Another brilliant idea done by my sister!

(Above right) Try to stick with the theme of your party by getting games to match. This birthday cowgirl was havin’ a knee slappin’ time trying to get candy out of her horse pinata.
