Party hard with your homies with these adorable gnomie invitations:
I also designed a boy version, but did not cut and assemble. Here is the .jpeg of what it looks like. Keep in mind that the file I have uploaded is NOT an image/template. It is an .svg file and you need proper software and a cutting machine to recreate these gnome invitation:
These are one of the easiest invitations I have designed! Just download my .svg file (above) and follow the steps below.
Tips on cutting and assembling
1) These are not printable templates! You need proper cutting machines and software to use an .svg file, such as a cricut and Sure Cuts A Lot 2 or the Silhouette and it’s compatible software.
2) You also need to be able to print your own information. I set up all the texts for my invitations in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
3) Once you cut your pieces, simply glue them together. First, score the hair piece at the angles so invitations can be folded. Glue the face onto the front piece of the hair. Then glue hat onto head (keep a ruler nearby to make sure you are staying under 7inches so it will fit in an envelope). Glue in text/information pieces. Close invitation and glue on eyelashes then googley eyes. Use small pop-up adhesive to attach nose. Stick desired flower embellishment onto hat (or acorn for the boy version), then draw on the smile 🙂
4) Remember these are your invitations so change them as you please- make the gnome have a blue hat or blonde hair! Whatever you want! Also, remember to have fun!
What homie will you be making your gnomie for? I made these specifically for a dear friend and her sweet daughter.
Happy 2nd Birthday sweet Harmony!
Isn’t she the cutest gnome you have ever seen?!
